Bengaluru-based startup 5C Network, India’s largest Software-as-a-medical device (SaaMD) organisation boasting over 2000 clients, has announced its acquisition of YouRad, a smaller Karnataka-based teleradiology player with a niche client base of 70. This acquisition signals 5C Network’s ongoing efforts to consolidate the teleradiology market, leveraging its superior technological capabilities to enhance service delivery across India.
YouRad, known for its smaller footprint in Karnataka, will now be part of 5C Network’s expansive operations. This integration is set to enrich YouRad’s existing service offerings with 5C Network’s advanced artificial intelligence (AI)-driven diagnostic solutions, broadening the spectrum of radiology services to meet and exceed current and future healthcare demands.
This acquisition is a clear indication of 5C Network’s dominant position in the market and its dedication to spearheading innovations in the field of teleradiology. By assimilating YouRad’s operations, 5C Network aims to further its mission of providing accessible and efficient radiological services across the country.
