Nandita Chandavarkar resigns as ABLE director
Ms Nandita Chandavarkar,- Director - Operations at Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises
Ms Nandita Chandavarkar, who is responsible for strategy and planning, programs, conferences and events designed to facilitate a dialogue amongst various stakeholders to promote the biotechnology industry in India has stepped down as Director - Operations at Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE). March 29 will be her last day at ABLE.
Speaking to BioSpectrum, she told, " I will be taking a break for some time now. And I have not yet decided on what will be next my step."
Holding a double post draguation degrees - one in Chemical Technology from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), formerly Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, Mumbai and second degree in Marketing Management, Ms Chandavarkar, worked in the Pharmaceutical industry in Mumbai and Bangalore before joining ABLE in 2003. Having been with ABLE since its inception ten years ago, she has been an active participant and witness to the rising prominence of the biotechnology sector from its nascent beginnings. She also has a five-year stint as a freelance design consultant.
