Since last two years, with an aim to encourage and give shape to ideas and innovations from youth, KIIT TBI is organizing Annual Business Plan Competition-Innovio with special emphasis on bio based innovation. The core aim of this competition is to identify potential entrepreneurs, nurture and support them to develop independent self sustaining business. This has been envisaged to encourage innovative thinking and entrepreneurship amongst students, professional and academia as well as spread awareness of the concept of incubation for enterprise creation at all levels.

The main theme of the competition are innovative technology identifying problems and challenge areas in healthcare and medical industry, energy, environmental protection, agriculture and farming, food and nutrition.

Time frame Of submission includes the business plan submission on December 30, 2013 which will be followed by finalists selection among the business plans by January 10, 2014. The finalist presentation to Jury and Award Ceremony is February 08, 2014.
