REVA Institute of Science & Management, Bangalore
Run by the Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust led by Mr P Shyamaraju, REVA Institute of Science and Mangement is affiliated to Bangalore University, Bangalore. During 2012-13, the department of biotechnology at the institute received 200 applications, out of which 56 students were admitted to the MSc biotechnology course. The department has so far published ten research papers published in national and international journals respectively.
According to the institute, its excellent infrastructure, committed faculty, commendable placements and productive tie ups, have made it convenient for students to choose from the wide range of courses. The institute has signed MoU with Oklahoma State University, US; Westeren Connecticut State University, US; Senecca College of Applied Arts and Sciences, Canada; Wuhan University, China; and PATHE Academy, Srilanka. The department believes in and pursues the path of holistic education where the student community is the focal point of the learning process. This is meaningfully complemented by the teaching community and parent community working together towards a common goal of excellence.
