Quest Diagnostics names Gabrielle Wolfson as Sr. VP and Chief Information and Digital Officer

Ms. Wolfson is responsible for leading information technology, data informatics and digital solutions for Quest Diagnostics.

Quest Diagnostics, the world's leading provider of diagnostic information services has announced that Gabrielle Wolfson, a veteran information technology business leader, has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Officer.

She reports directly to Steve Rusckowski, Chairman, President and CEO, and is based at the company's headquarters in Secaucus, N.J.

Ms. Wolfson is responsible for leading information technology, data informatics and digital solutions for Quest Diagnostics. These include the company's Quanum suite of healthcare IT solutions and data analytics, myQuest patient mobile app and portal, and digital engagement for the company's 2,200 patient service centers.

"Gabrielle is a dynamic business and technology leader with a proven record of harnessing technology and data to create strong businesses and engaged, loyal customers," said Mr. Rusckowski. "She has the vision, experience and business acumen to help Quest improve the way we use technology to create great experiences for consumers, employees, healthcare providers and payers. I'm pleased to welcome Gabrielle to Quest Diagnostics."

Ms. Wolfson joins Quest Diagnostics from Xerox Corp. where had she served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) since 2016. At Xerox, she led efforts to drive cost and complexity from the company's technology infrastructure and create a dynamic digital business. Prior to Xerox, Ms. Wolfson was CIO for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, where she led the global digital transformation for the company's reservation, ecommerce and marketing platforms. Also, she is formerly CIO for both Integra Life Sciences and Par Pharmaceutical, and a practice leader for life sciences and pharmaceutical industries for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. Wolfson earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Queens College in New York City, and a master's degree in technology management from Columbia University. She is a member of the Governing Body of the Society of Information Management (SIM).

Quest Diagnostics is a leader in healthcare information technologies and services. As many as one in two physicians and hospitals, and 675 electronic health record platforms, connect to one or more Quanum solutions in the United States. The company also provides several data analytics and population services based on its more than 44 billion de-identified laboratory tests. Quest Diagnostics is also a founding member of the Synaptic Health Alliance, which explores the use of blockchain technology to improve data quality and sharing.
