"I think it is likely to turn into a seasonal infection after a reasonable proportion of the world is infected, but we need to keep tracking to see how the pandemic evolves. We need to test more. Prepare hospitals, public and private sector for critical care and ICUs, including improving infection control and providing equipment etc. Involve the community in making physical distancing a habit and improving hygiene (really, really good handwashing). Protect the elderly and those with comorbidities with isolation. Model disease and interventions, and use data to guide actions."
