Venture Center, India’s leading science-based incubator hosted at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Blockchain For Impact (BFI) to advance the global readiness of Indian startups working in healthcare and sustainability.
The collaboration was formalised through an agreement, signed at Delhi. This will help strengthen Venture Center’s flagship internationalisation programme - the LEAP Global Accelerator, an equity-free, cohort-based initiative led by Venture Center and supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, under the NIDHI Accelerator scheme.
The partnership will allow Venture Center to support the internationalisation plans of the cohort more effectively via expert help and through curated interventions aimed at global market access, regulatory preparedness, international partnerships, and investment readiness.
"At Venture Center, we are committed to helping Indian innovators take their ideas to global markets. We’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Blockchain For Impact on the BFI Biome initiative, and this new partnership under the LEAP Global Accelerator builds on that strong foundation - bringing together BFI’s global perspective and reach with our on-the-ground support to help startups become globally competitive.” said Dr Premnath, Founding Director of Venture Center.
The programme creates structured pathways for enterprises to navigate international markets, offering tailored support in go-to-market strategy, investor readiness, regulatory and certification guidance, clinical validation planning, and mentoring by international experts. Participants also benefit from curated exposure through bootcamps, demo days, matchmaking events, and connections with a global network of key opinion leaders, investors, accelerators, embassies, and ecosystem partners.
