Apollo Cradle, Apollo Clinic launched in Amritsar

Making its first major investment in Punjab, India’s leading hospital chain Apollo Hospitals has launch Apollo Cradle and Apollo Clinic in Amritsar.

Apollo Cradle, a hospital for women and children, has international standard operating theatres, a level III neonatal ICU that can handle the most complex pre-term babies, a pediatric ICU and ward and luxurious patient rooms.

The hospital also boasts of high-end diagnostic equipment including a 4D ultrasound machine that can detect fetal anomalies.

Apollo Clinic, the 79th multi-specialty clinic opened by the hospital chain, will offer specialists doctors, diagnostics, treatment facilities, including dental and physiotherapy, all under one roof.

Early detection is critical to the management of non- communicable diseases (NCDs), and with the Apollo Health Checks programme, residents of Amritsar must pledge to get their health checked each year so that they win the battle against NCDs. The Apollo Clinic will also make daily healthcare simpler and more convenient, with all doctors, diagnostics and treatment facilities all under one roof.

There is a virtual epidemic of non-communicable diseases in India. The economic cost of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disorder and cancer, is going to be huge. Apollo Clinics are playing a significant role in helping alleviate the burden of NCDs in India.
