Fujifilm presents comprehensive synapse portfolio at RSNA 2015

FUJIFILM Medical Systems will showcase its evolving portfolio of Synapse integrated solutions and unveil next generation upgrades at the 101st annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) held November 29 - December 4, 2015 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

"Fujifilm's Synapse solutions are designed to help transform healthcare organizations as they enhance collaboration and optimize workflows across the enterprise," said Mr Jim Morgan, vice-president of Medical Informatics, FUJIFILM Medical Systems. He added, "Our goal is to provide innovative technologies that increase efficiency, boost productivity, and ultimately, help drive quality care and better patient outcomes."

The following will be on exhibit and available for demonstration at RSNA Booth #4165:

Synapse VNA from FUJIFILM TeraMedica the current KLAS Category Leader for VNA/Image Archive enables management, distribution, and visualization of DICOM and non-DICOM images and standards based documents from any departmental system. The next generation Synapse VNA version 6.0 will debut at RSNA. Major new features include a completely re-designed demographics quality assurance, user interface and support for VNA role-based dashboards.

Synapse PACS, the cornerstone of the Synapse integrated solution line, offers new user interface with fast image display, unique Synapse Commonview sharing capability for outside and cloud study transfers, and integration capabilities with other radiology and EHR vendors to optimize workflow.

Synapse 3D provides advanced visualization and analysis tools and fully integrates with Synapse PACS, eliminating the need to access advanced diagnostic tools on a separate workstation. Synapse 3D also offers image overlay tools so radiologists can use volumetric imaging to generate 3D models and quantitative analysis of organs. With synchronized patient lists, Synapse 3D is designed to optimize workflow and enhance diagnostic confidence.

 

Synapse RIS is a full-featured, workflow management system that is fully integrated with Synapse PACS. It features template scheduling, patient portal, business intelligence analytics and has complete EHR certification for Meaningful Use in radiology.

Synapse Cardiovascular is a web-based platform that can fit any facility's IT infrastructure and offers capabilities and tools that help streamline workflow, image review, and reporting for a variety of cardiac areas with Synapse VNA version 6.0. It creates finalized, signed cardiovascular-structured reports quickly and easily, and is equipped with a graphical user interface.

Synapse Mobility is a zero footprint enterprise viewer that supports VNA with a full suite of collaboration tools and embedded cloud based image sharing that allows clinicians to access patient information anytime, anywhere, from a variety of platforms or using a mobile application. Synapse Mobility provides advanced 3D viewing tools for radiology visualization.
