Gurugram-based startup Virohan, India’s leading healthcare ed-tech platform, has partnered with Mahajan Imaging & Labs, a leader in diagnostics, medical imaging, and genomics, to provide placement opportunities for its students.
This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between education and the healthcare industry by offering students hands-on experience with cutting-edge, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered medical imaging and diagnostic technologies.
Mahajan Imaging & Labs’ extensive network, with labs and diagnostic facilities at medical centres such as Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, PSRI Hospital, Fortis Hospitals (Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, Jaipur), and the Sports Injury Centre at Safdarjung Hospital, provides students with the opportunity to work and learn alongside experts in the field.
Through this partnership, Virohan students will turn their classroom learning into hands-on experience in real healthcare environments. Working in state-of-the-art facilities, they will build the clinical and technical skills needed to meet India’s growing demand for skilled Allied Health Professionals.
India’s healthcare sector is growing rapidly at 22% annually, yet it faces a shortage of 5.8 million Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), who make up 60% of the workforce. This partnership goes beyond placements—it’s about equipping the next generation of AHPs to meet this critical demand.
