With the inauguration of the Koita Center for Digital Health, the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) is strengthening its resolve to further digital healthcare in India.

The grand event witnessed a symposium on “Catalysing Digital Health Revolution in India,” and brought together digital health experts from government, academia, and industry.

IIT-B had announced the establishment of the Koita Centre for Digital Health,- the first-of-its-kind Centre for Research in Digital Health in India, back in June 2021. It is focused on driving academic programmes, research, and industry collaborations in digital health. It will offer minor, dual degree, Masters and PhD programmes in Healthcare Informatics, and also conduct industry / outreach programmes for healthcare and industry professionals in digital health and enable them to act as force-multipliers.
