The campus is the company’s largest location in the world in terms of area
Siemens Healthineers India celebrated laying the foundation stone for the new campus in Bengaluru on 15 March 2023. Furthering its enduring commitment to India and driving the digitalisation of healthcare, the company had announced an investment Rs 1,300 crore for setting up Siemens Healthineers campus.
The new campus integrates R&D, manufacturing, innovation hub and India headquarters making India a core centre of competence for the design and development of entry-level products.
70,000 square meters of office space for the development centre and 5,000 square meters of manufacturing space will be initiated in the first phase.
In a second phase, a total area of around 114,000 square meters will be added. This will make the campus the company’s largest location in the world in terms of area. The futuristic campus aims to strengthen collaboration and creativity, coupled with environment-friendly, sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.
