Workshop participants will be able to understand the concepts and methods in drug development and translation from practical experiences and real-life case studies

The international non-profit organisation Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi), the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR), and Venture Center’s BIRAC Regional Bio-Innovation Center (BRBC) will be conducting an international workshop on taking novel drugs from lab to clinic from March 7-11, 2022.
The workshop will be held virtually and will bring together the world's leading subject matter experts, scientists, and representatives from industries with diverse pharmaceutical experience to share insights on the path of translational research for small molecules.
The workshop brings together 28 national and international speakers from leading pharmaceutical companies such as Cipla, Johnson and Johnson, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Bayer A G Pharmaceuticals, Syngene International, and reputed universities and research organizations such as THSTI, Faridabad, University of Dundee and Northeastern university.
It will be conducted over five days, and will broadly cover topics such as successful lead optimisation, pharmaceutical development, safety pharmacology, toxicology, and first-in-human clinical trials.
