Over 23,282 nurses worldwide vying for grand prize of $250,000

Aster DM Healthcare has announced a global lineup of the industry’s leading experts as grand jury for the upcoming Global Nursing Awards To be held in Dubai on International Nurses Day on May 12, 2022. Aster Guardians Global Nursing Awards would see one outstanding performer in the field of nursing claim the grand prize of $250,000 while nine other finalists would share the stage to receive a substantial award each.
The jury will have Howard Catton, CEO, International Council of Nurses, Switzerland; Prof Sheila Tlou, Co-Chairperson, Global HIV Prevention Coalition and Ex-Minister of Health & Member of Parliament – Government of Botswana; Prof James Buchan - Adjunct Professor, WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing; Muralee Thummarukudy, Acting Head, Resilience to Disasters and Conflicts Global Support Branch, United Nations Environment Programme, Switzerland and Dr Carolyn Gomes, Executive Director, Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition (CVC), Jamaica.
The first year of the awards and ceremony is being conducted on International Nurses Day in May 2022 by Aster DM Healthcare, with Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as 'Process Advisors'.
