The machine provides a comprehensive model of the entire heart
Fortis Memorial Research Institute (Gurgaon) launched a state-of-the-art cath lab with India’s first ‘3D Electro-Anatomical Mapping Carto 7 machine’. The launch event was organised under the aegis of Dr TS Kler, Chairman, Fortis Heart & Vascular Institute, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram and Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj and inaugurated by Rao Inderjit Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, Government of India.
The 3D electro-anatomical mapping carto 7 machine provides a comprehensive model of the entire heart, while simultaneously relaying information regarding the electrical activity (in the heart). The machine allows for the mapping of complex heart arrhythmias supporting electrophysiologists in making optimal treatment decisions.
