Ambuja Cement’s Hospital gets NABH’s pre-accreditation

Ambuja Cements Ltd run Ambujanagar Multispeciality Hospital has been conferred with the prestigious Pre-Accreditation (Entry Level) Certificate by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH), a recognition that strengthens Company’s commitment to drive prosperity in rural communities. It is the only hospital in the entire Gir Somnath and Junagadh districts to obtain accreditation certificate – that confirms patient safety and quality of healthcare are in compliance with the NABH Standards. 

The assessment team of NABH a constituent board of Quality Council of India – evaluated the healthcare being provided to patients, safety standards and services in the hospital before granting certification under Pre-Accreditation Entry Level Hospital program which is valid till October 2020. 

Established in 2016 at the Company’s mother plant in Kodinar, Gir Somnath, this hospital with the Vision - To establish the hospital into the most admired healthcare institution for patients and care providers alike – has a capacity of 64 beds; and offers state-of-the-art facilities. It is one of the most admired health institutions in the region and provides affordable services – diagnostic services, ambulatory care services, emergency services, critical care units, surgical suites and inpatient department. It serves both employees as well as communities around the plant.       

In addition, Ambuja Cement through its CSR arm Ambuja Cement Foundation has been over the years implementing the Health and Sanitation intervention – a need-based program – to foster prosperity in communities across India.
