At the Global Innovation Forum 2018 (TGIF) summit in Visakhaptnam, a web-based technology platform, designed to help all stakeholders involved in cancer care to collaborate globally and to synergise their actions in real time, developed by Elixsys Lifesciences, the chief promoter of VCR Park, was unveiled by Dr. Himabindu Gaddipati, its Chairperson and CEO.
The proposed VCR Park, to focus on cancer research, is intended to reduce the cancer-care cost across the spectrum.
The developers believe that a comprehensive cancer related eco-system is not only needed but is the only way to bend the cost curve and make cancer care affordable in India and around the world.
A number of stakeholders, including eminent global scientists, researchers, academicians, doctors, tech start-ups and venture capitalists, attended the summit.
