Huntsman India, a global manufacturer ofdifferentiated chemicals has announced the appointment of Mr Rohit Aggarwal as the VP and MD of Huntsman India operations. He will be reporting directly to Mr Paul Hulme, president, Huntsman Textile Effects division.
According to the press release, Mr Aggarwal will have corporate oversight over the company's India operations and focus on increasing the company's asset base, external partnerships and investment in India and the subcontinent.
Mr Agarwal was previously the CEO, Asia Pacific for Louis Dreyfus. Prior to which he was with Huntsman as a strategoic marketing director in the advanced materials division before moving to textile effects as vice president. He has more than 20 years of experience in the chemical industry.
Speaking on the appointment, Mr Paul Hulme said, "I would first like to thank Steve Stilliard for his valuable contribution throughout his stint at Huntsman India. He has displayed commendable leadership and keen sense of business insights in India which has positioned us for growth in India."
