Premas Biotech has been bestowed with the best distributor award 2014 for the Asian territory again at the maiden global distributor meeting held at Illumina Inc headquarters in San Diego. The company got the sales excellence award for achieving 147 percent of the allocated quota.

Premas Biotech offers lifescience research solutions to various companies in India and abroad. Besides being a full fledged Contract Research and Manufacturing Services Organization (CRAMS), the Life Sciences division of the company has been also into the marketing of genome sequencing instruments. Premas has been the national distributor for Illumina for a while now. It has been able to successfully install an increased number of genome sequencing platforms in many key national institutes in India.

Mr Praveen Gupta, executive director, Premas Lifescience, who attended the awards ceremony, expressed his delight and satisfaction to the BioSpectrum on being honored with this pretigious award for its renowned prinicpal company.

It is important to note that Illumina got its first platform that is Bead Array installed at the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB) in 2007 by utilizing the services of Premas Biotech.
