Colder, according to a press release, has announced the launch of its MPC and MPX quick disconnect product lines in India. These product lines include back-to-back body adapters and sanitary inserts. They offer greater flexibility in combining single-use components and systems to biopharmaceutical manufacturers.

"CPC's MPC and MPX quick connects are already an industry standard in North America and Europe, and are rapidly becoming the prevailing solution in India as well due to growing customer interest in expanded options such as back-to-back body adapters and sanitary inserts," said Mr Ernest Chan, director of sales, Asia Pacific, CPC. He added, "End-users will benefit from the added process flexibility of making quick and secure transitions between standard sanitary fittings and quick connects as well as easily combining systems that incorporate different tubing sizes."

CPC's MPC and MPX back-to-back body adapters enable end users to connect off-the-shelf single-use systems that feature male coupling inserts and can be used in a wide range of applications such as fermentation sampling, modular tubing manifolds, and lab scale additions. These are made up of polycarbonate and polysulfone materials.

The products meet USP Class VI and ADCF requirements and are manufactured in an ISO Class 7 certified cleanroom.
