BioTek to be a part of AHA Heart Walk 2014
This year's fund raising activity includes a social media blitz
BioTek has announced that a team of employees will be participating in this year's Heart walk, to be held on Sept 27, at Oakledge Park in Burlington. This is in support of the American Heart Association (AHA).
According to a company press release, over $17,000 was raised by employees through fundraising and donations, and they walked 3 miles with many other participants in last year's Vermont Heart Walk.
This year's fund raising activity includes a social media blitz and BioTek will donate $1 for every Facebook like the company gets on its homepage, said the release.
