Akums, a leading provider of cost-effective and timely manufacturing solutions in the pharmaceutical industry, has announced its pioneering central warehousing pilot project located in the SIDCUL Industrial Estate, Haridwar, this initiative represents a significant milestone in Akums' commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions to the pharmaceutical sector.

Under the visionary leadership of Sanjeev Jain and Sandeep Jain, the company has consistently provided innovative contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) services. In the past, Indian pharma companies had to rely on foreign sources to meet their manufacturing and research-oriented needs.

Traditionally, factories have prioritised expanding their core production areas, neglecting the optimization of finished goods storage space. Acknowledging this gap, Akums' senior management has dedicated substantial time to address storage challenges and develop in-house expertise.

The first phase of the project comprises a built-up area of 30,610.2 sq. mtr., including a ground coverage of 28,215.61 sq. mtr., with 17 standalone blocks dedicated to pharmaceutical FG storage.

Akums has embarked on this groundbreaking central warehousing pilot project, to enhance operational efficiency and meet the evolving demands of the pharmaceutical industry.
