Ernakulam-based Agappe Diagnostics is launching India’s fastest COVID-19 confirmatory test solution without RNA extraction step, on RT-LAMP platform, with test results in 30-35 minutes from sample collection time.

It will have test reports with more than 98.7 per cent sensitivity and 100 per cent specificity and is known as ‘AG InstaLume’ Reagent Kit.

In the process, nasopharyngeal swab can be collected and mixed directly in the lyse buffer and then it is directly tested with AG InstaLume kit.  The reaction vial can be loaded in MISPA LUME, Real-time LAMP Analyzer. Thus, the sample to report turnaround time is reduced to 35 minutes with high accuracy.

This is the best option for airports, religious places, conventions, social gatherings, hospitals for patients, by-standers & all public functions where one compact machine can give 16 test results in 35 minutes.
