Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC) has installed BioMatrix 3T MR System from Siemens Healthineers named MAGNETOM Vida. This is the first BioMatrix System installed in Delhi and NCR region and is most suited for cancer imaging. BioMatrix technology will help to overcome imaging challenges by automatically adjusting to patient biovariability.

“We are confident that the recent Installation of MAGNETOM Vida will certainly set a new benchmark in oncology imaging and this would help us deliver individualised and personalised care to all our patients with the help of BioMatrix technology. We had some challenges with scanning patients with limited breath-hold capability. New revolutionary free breathings abdomen examination has brought in a new paradigm shift in abdomen screening with high-resolution dynamic abdominal imaging under free-breathing with one continuous, push-button exam. New and Unique 64 channel Head Neck coil can now help us in improving our clinical results and speed by multifold," said Dr Arvind K Chaturvedi, Chair Radiology and Interventional Oncology, RGCIRC.
