Neuberg Diagnostics has recently launched advanced laboratory facility including molecular diagnostics and genomics testing at its Chennai division, Neuberg Ehrlich.
The facility up gradation marks the 80th anniversary of Ehrlich lab, which was recently renamed Neuberg Ehrlich after it became part of the Neuberg Diagnostics group.
The new facility was launched by VK Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs and Overseas India Affairs, and C Vijaya Baskar, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Tamil Nadu.
In a public-private partnership with the Tamil Nadu government, Neuberg Ehrlich has set up a newborn screening lab at the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children, Egmore, to screen babies for congenital hypothyroidism and congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
The new laboratory inauguration also saw the launch of Neuberg Anand Academy of Laboratory Medicine aimed at fostering research and for providing fellowship programme on super-speciality pathology techniques.
