Priyank Kharge leads discussion inviting tech leaders, industry associations, startup founders and media to Bengaluru Tech Summit as Asia’s largest tech show
As a prelude to the 27th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2024, scheduled from 19-21 November 2024 at Bangalore Palace, a dynamic open industry dialogue was held in Delhi on 24 September, led by Priyank Kharge, Minister for Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Government of Karnataka.
BTS 2024 is organised by the Department of E, IT and Bt, Govt. of Karnataka and Co-hosted by the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

The Delhi Industry Meet gathered leaders from key sectors such as IT, Deeptech, Electronics, Telecom, EV, Biotech, Gaming, and Animation, representatives from various trade missions, heads of prominent R&D institutes as well as various Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) partner countries.
Bengaluru Tech Summit is recognised as a pivotal platform in the global technology landscape, solidifying Bengaluru and Karnataka's roles as innovation leaders. This pre-event dialogue was held in Delhi to engage national stakeholders and expand the summit’s reach beyond regional boundaries.
Priyank Kharge stated, “This year’s summit will cover a broad spectrum of topics within IT, Electronics, Biotechnology, Startups, and the Global Innovation Alliance tracks, ensuring comprehensive dialogue on the future of technology. Introducing the new ESDM (Electronics System Design and Manufacturing) track marks a significant step in reinforcing Karnataka’s role as a leader in advanced manufacturing."
Dr Ekroop Caur emphasised, “Bengaluru Tech Summit has evolved beyond being a Karnataka event—it is now a national platform. We encourage and invite the entire Indian Electronics, Technology, and Biotechnology sectors to participate, showcase their innovations to a global audience, and leverage this opportunity to accelerate their business growth.”
With 85 sessions and over 460+ speakers from industry, research and academia, BTS 2024 Conference promises in-depth exploration and dialogue.
Flagship programmes at BTS 2024 will include the CEO Conclave, Startup Conclave, and Fireside Chats with renowned industry leaders. Special emphasis will be placed on B2B meetings to foster structured networking and engagement, with the BTS Event App providing seamless access to schedules and updates.
The International Exhibition at BTS 2024 will feature 700+ exhibitors, including focused pavilions such as Corporate & Industry, Global Innovation Alliance, Startup Zone, and MSME Pavilion. Special sectorial pavilions will highlight breakthroughs in Biotech, Healthtech, Spacetech, Mobility, Greentech, Fintech, and more, with delegations from 40+ countries expected to participate, making BTS 2024 a truly global event.
