Delta Carbon, a biobased material, is soon to replace the petroleum-based counterparts that are used in various pharma and biotech industries.
According to Industry analysts, the new bio-based material can effectively compete with the existing traditional petroleum-based materials that are used in the separation of Hydrophilic compounds, Oder control, and industrial wastewater purification.
Sources from Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association (BDMA) also highlighted the specifications of the Delta-Carbon and noted that this new bio-based material has a high Cfix value with a pH value of 7 at a normal 20-degree Celsius temperature.
Ramaswamy, an industry analyst from BDMA, says that in recent times, extensive research has been performed to address the challenges allied with long-term durability, reliability, serviceability, properties, and sustainable production in Pharma and other related industries dealing with complex chemicals. “with its high Cfix greater than 90 percent, this bio-based Delta carbon can be used not just as a catalyst, but also can be used as an industrial wastewater purifier as it has good mesoporosity level of more than 60 percent,” observed the analysts.
Overall, the new advacned bio-based material is going to bring a new revolution in the industrial setup as the new technology is flexible and sustainable overcoming various environmental challenges faced by the pharma and other related industries.
