This year, INDIA BIO will showcase the consistent focus of the Biotech industry towards new innovations and impactful progress in its growth trajectory through the aptly chosen theme, Innovation & Impact.
The Dept. of IT & BT, Government of Karnataka is organising the 18th edition of its flagship event INDIA BIO from 29th November to 1st December 2018 at Bengaluru Palace, Bengaluru under the umbrella of the prestigious Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) which is celebrating its 21st edition. This year, INDIA BIO will showcase the consistent focus of the Biotech industry towards new innovations and impactful progress in its growth trajectory through the aptly chosen theme, Innovation & Impact.
The BTS 2018 event spectrum would include multi-track conference, B2B Expo, Thought Leaders Conclave, IT Export Awards, Bio Excellence Awards, Bengaluru Tech Exchange, Show Stoppers- Product Launch and Global Innovation Zone, Startups, and posters.
At the conference front, BTS 2018 will be graced by the presence of Jaap Akkerhuis, Member, Internet Security & Stability Advisory Committee at ICANN Amsterdam Area, Netherlands; Dr. Ganesh Kishore, Managing Partner, Spruce Capital Partners LLC, San Francisco, CA, USA; Dr. Ashok Gulati, Infosys Chair Professor for Agriculture, Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations; Damien Manuel, Director for the strategic research centre – Cyber Security Research and Innovation, Deakin University Melbourne, Australia and Dr. Edmond Rock, National Institute of Agronomical Research, Research Director, Human Nutrition Unit & Scientific Officer for India, International Affairs, France, as the keynote speakers.
The INDIA BIO event conference will be focusing on the trending topics including Artificial Intelligence, Non- Communicable Diseases & Therapies, eHealth innovations, Brain Research, Industrial Biotechnology, Neuromodulation, Genetic disorders, to name a few.
Another major highlight of the BTS event includes a virtual Global Hackathon in collaboration with Global Innovation Alliance Partners and Startup Innovation Hubs from across the globe to create solutions that address local or global societal needs. Alongside, BTS 2018 in association with IDRL is bringing India’s biggest and most extravagant drone racing competition till date. During the event, drone racing will take the form of an extravagant night drone racing track as top pilots compete for the biggest prize in the history of drone racing in India on the grandest track ever built.
Overall, the BTS 2018 event will have over 250 experts addressing 3500+ delegates and 300+ exhibitors showcasing their services, products and technologies to 11000+ visitors.
