Strides Shasun has recently received an approval from the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for Promethazine Hydrochloride Tablets USP, 12.5 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg.
According to IMS data, the US market for Promethazine Hydrochloride Tablets USP, 12.5 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg is approximately $ 17 million.
The product will be manufactured at the company’s flagship facility at Bangalore and marketed by Strides Pharma Inc. in the US Market.
Promethazine Hydrochloride Tablet is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting related to certain conditions and also to treat allergy symptoms such as rash, itching, and runny nose.
