The minister of state for agriculture and food processing, Tariq Anwar planting a tree at NIANP, Bangalore

During his recent visit to the National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology (NIANP), Bangalore, the minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Industries, Mr Tariq Anwar addressed the scientists and staff of the NIANP. The minister emphasized that the technologies developed should reach the end users. He called upon the scientists to bring out more number of feasible technologies to meet the expectations of farming community and industries.

He went around the various facilities and showed keen interest in different activities of the institute. He appreciated the state of the art facilities and infrastructure created as well as the quality of work being done at the institute. Dr C S Prasad, Director, NIANP welcomed the minister and briefed about the activities and the technologies developed by the institute.
