Come July 3rd, Chennai will witness a large gathering of delegates representing various pharmaceutical enterprises at Pharmac South 2015 - the International Exhibition for Contract Manufacturers in Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Ayurvedic products along with Pharma Machinery, Packaging, Equipment, Material, Bulk Drug, API, Clean Room and Water Technology.

In association with Orbit Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd, Pharmac South is organized by the southern India chapter of Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association (IDMA-TNPSB). This two-day trade exhibition will be held on July 3rd and 4th at Chennai Trade Centre.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, V K Subburaj.

With the motto of bringing together manufacturers and buyers on a common platform, IDMA has invited more than 100 pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies for this global event. The exhibition which is taking place for the second straight year will have manufacturers from the four south Indian States participating.

Speaking at the curtain raiser of the event, President of Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association S V Veeramani said, "Pharmac South 2015 will provide pharmaceutical companies an opportunity to interact on a one-on-one basis. Small and medium-scale enterprises will be a benefited a lot from the exhibition, which is expected to be witness participations from around 2500 entrepreneurs."

Chairman of the Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association M Rajarathinam said, "Tamil Nadu contributes only two per cent to the Indian pharma market. The exhibition will bring business to 400 manufacturers in Tamil Nadu. Export-oriented panel discussions will be conducted on topics like pharmaceutical export to ASEAN and African countries, new neutraceutical products for exports etc. New and innovative product launches will also take place at the event."
