Transasia Bio-Medicals announced that it has launched the Laura XL System at the 3rd APPI (Association of Practicing Pathologists - India) Annual Conference 2016 held in June 2016, at JW Marriott Juhu, Mumbai.

(Hony.) Brig. Dr. Arvind Lal, (Padma Shri, Chairman & Managing Director, Dr. Lal PathLabs Ltd.), inaugurated this latest innovation from the house of Transasia. Laura XL System is a fully automated urine chemistry and sediment analyzer, which has been developed in-house by Transasia's group entity Erba Lachema, Czech Republic. The launch announcement was also featured in the Mumbai edition of The Indian Express.

"Since its inception, Transasia's focus has been on meeting the needs of doctors and patients by providing reliable, affordable and innovative medical diagnostic systems. With the introduction of Laura XL, we have further expanded our product portfolio. Laura XL is a fully automated urine analyzer with 21 classifications using artificial intelligence," said Mr Suresh Vazirani, Chairman & Managing Director, Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd.

"A sophisticated artificial intelligence is responsible for the automatic recognition of sediment on the pictures, resulting in fast and accurate classification and quantitative determination of the sediment content," stated Dr. Suchan Pavel, Global Product Manager, Urine Chemistry & Microbiology, Erba Lachema s.r.o.

In addition, Transasia put together three workshops in clinical chemistry, hematology and coagulation, with a complete demonstration of Hb-Vario, Laura XL, XN-L, ECL 412 and EM 200 systems.
