Rank 17 - Arunai Engineering College

Arunai Engineering College (AEC) was established in 1993. At present, the institution has 2,492 students. The college offers nine undergraduate engineering programs and six postgraduate programs. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of AICTE,  New Delhi, had awarded it with the requisite accreditation. Arunai Engineering College has also been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification from DNV Netherlands in recognition of its International Quality Standards in technical education. Further, to enhance the level of interaction with the industry, Arunai Engineering College has become a member of Confederation of Indian Industry. Academic courses in Bachelor of Engineering include mechanical engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electronics and instrumentation engineering, civil engineering. In Bachelor of Technology, it offers information technology, chemical engineering, industrial biotechnology.
During the year, students of AEC underwent training on handling aptitude tests, group discussions, interview handling and resume preparation through leading training partners.
