Strides wins CCI approval to buy 7 brands of J&J
Strides will buy J&J's seven brands in dermatology, anti-emetic and pain management segments
Strides Shasun has received Competition Commission of India (CCI) approval to acquire seven brands from consumer healthcare firm Johnson and Johnson (J&J).
"... approves acquisition of certain brands of Johnson and Johnson by Strides Shasun Limited," CCI tweeted.
Last year, Strides has struck a deal to acquire seven brands from J&J.
As per the deal, Strides will buy J&J's seven brands in dermatology, anti-emetic and pain management segments. The brands that the company will acquire include Otogesic ear drops, Ethnorub ointment and Stugil tablets.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
