Eppendorf India is the Indian arm of Eppendorf AG, Germany. Headquartered in Chennai, Eppendorf India has branch offices in all the major cities in the country. The company recorded revenue of Rs 73.63 crore in FY 2009 over the previous years' revenue of Rs 60.14 crore.

The range of products offered by Eppendorf India includes pipettes, dispensers, centrifuges, and also consumables like sample tubes and pipette tips. In addition, Eppendorf offers instruments and systems for cell manipulation, automated devices for liquid handling, complete equipment for DNA amplification and biochips.

Eppendorf India develops, produces and distributes systems for use in life sciences research laboratories worldwide. Its products are aimed at academic and commercial research institutes as well as industrial companies in the field of biotechnology or in other sectors that use biotech research processes.

The company offers wide range of PCR machines and consumables. The traditional Mastercycler series of Eppendorf are available in three models such as, Mastercycler Gradient, Mastercycler and Mastercycler Personal. In PCR consumables space, Eppendorf offers products like twin.tec PCR plates (both 96 wells and 384 wells), 0.2ml PCR tubes, heat sealer, sealing film, sealing mat, cap strips, capping aid, PCR tube rack and PCR cooler.

Apart from life sciences research or industry, agriculture is one of its focus segments for classical or standard PCR. In 2007, New Brunswick Scientific became a member of the Eppendorf Group. New Brunswick manufactures a wide range of equipment for cell growth, detection and storage, with products ranging from biological shakers, fermenters and bioreactors to CO2 incubators and ultra-low temperature freezers. Eppendorf India sells the entire range of Eppendorf and NBS products in India.

The attraction of the Eppendorf's Indian headquarter is its applications lab and a training center. It has facilities to train customers on specific high-tech topics such as real-time PCR and liquid handling automation. Moreover, the lab also serves for demonstration purposes as a continuing exhibition of the state-of-the-art research tools.
