AP signs MoU with AP BioNet

The Government of Andhra Pradesh and Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNet) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Singapore. The MoU will enable the Life Sciences Research Institutions in Andhra Pradesh, such as, CCMB, CDFD, IICT, NIN etc. to be a part of the Global Research Network, which has a focus on Bioinformatics. Prof. Shoba Ranganathan, Vice President, APBioNet and BP Acharya, secretary, Industries, Andhra Pradesh signed the MoU. The government has also signed another MoU with Pacific Healthcare Holding Ltd, a Singapore-based Corporate Hospital for setting up a Stem Cell Research Center and state-of-the-art maternity hospital in Hyderabad. Dr William Chong, managing director of the Pacific Healthcare Holdings and BP Acharya, secretary, Industries, signed the MoU.
