These are words, Mr Ramji Mangukia, Director of a small agribiotech company - Agriland Biotech has to say about Gujarat as a biotech investment destination at the 'Vibrant Gujarat 2013: Global Investors Summit' concluded on January 13 at Gandhinagar.

Total Investment Intentions for 17,719 projects, including 12,886 in SME sector, promising jobs to 0.37 million were announced at the sixth version of Vibrant Gujarat, Gujarat Government's flagship mega event that was attended by top functionaries of governments, captains of industries and investors, management experts, dignitaries and delegates. A total of 2,100 representatives from 121 countries have attended 127 seminars on different topics.

Agriland Biotech, actively involving in the promotion of biological, organic and environment-friendly agricultural products, plans to invest less than Rs 2 crore in creating employment opportunity to about 20 persons in Gujarat in coming period.

Speaking to BioSpectrum, Mr Ramji Mangukia said, " Gujarat Horticulture Mission and Gujarat State BioTechnology Mission are rendering financial help to the entrepreneurs. Besides, the government offers assistance to expedite the commissioning units and helps in promoting markets as well."
