Rank 11 - Jaipur National University

As per the Ordinance 7 of 2007, promulgated by the Government of Rajasthan, the Mahima Shiksha Samiti of Jaipur established Jaipur National University, on October 22, 2007.
Approved by the UGC Under Sec 2f of UGC Act 1956, the university which is the apex body of 14 schools and various departments organize teaching and research projects under the supervision and guidance of their respective directors and heads of the departments.  School of Life Sciences at Jaipur National University offers various postgraduate programs leading to MSc, MPhil and PhD degrees. The programs are in biotechnology, microbiology and biochemistry. It offers a three-year integrated BSc Biotech course, five-year integrated BSc, MSc Biotech and a two-year MSc Biotech courses. Integrated programs in Biotechnology, Microbial Technology and Bioinformatics have been devised to provide a broad-based curriculum with interdisciplinary approach as well as in-depth understanding of effective and innovative practices.
