The summit was opened by Mr Rajendra P. Gupta, president, Disease Management Association of India. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gupta mentioned, "Over the last decade, most Indian health-care providers have concentrated on expanding infrastructure to reach out to more patients through increased focus on technology, education & training.
