The 12th edition of BioAsia 2015, has tied-up with the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI) for co-organising a meet on supply chain and logistics. This would enable companies to identify new emerging market trends for a cost effective pharma supply chain management.

"As Indian companies look to expand and supply to global markets, an agile, customised and cost-efficient supply chain is of paramount importance. Hence, the event will be a Government-Business platform to focus on the challenges and need a radical overhaul from the current state," said Mr Shakthi Nagappan, CEO, BioAsia.

According to Mr Ranjana Smetacek, director general, OPPI, "Supply chain optimisation, from a cost, quality and overall integrity perspective critical for the pharmaceutical industry. BioAsia 2015 provides a platform for discussions that will benefit the industry and help us better serve Indian patients."
