Rockland Hospital Launches its Cardiac Department

The addition of a full fledged Cardio department by the Rockland Hospitals group in its Qutab institutional area. The facility is yet another step in upgrading the facilities at its oldest unit in line with the group's newly created hospitals at Manesar and Dwarka, which have been built to international standards.

Rajesh Srivastava, Chairman, Rockland Hospitals, said that "the foreign exchange earning potential in this sector is very high. India is already a leading nation in Asia and can become the No 1 destination in Asia on the strength of its quality doctors and upcomig world class infrastructure. The healthcare sector also offers a huge opportunity for the young Indians to be globally employed as the Indian doctors and nurses are already internationally respected for their competence."

Mrs Preneet Kaur, Minister of State and External Affairs, New Delhi, inaugurated the Cardiac Department at the Rockland hospital, Qutab institutional area, Southern Delhi. She highlighted the impotance of diagnostics at remote locations through technology interface and a need for quality healthcare delivery up to village levels at affordable costs.
