Govt invites suggestions for soft loan to pharma enterprises
Support to pharma enterprises: Govt to involve all stakeholders
The department of pharmaceuticals (DoP), ministry of chemicals and fertilizers, government of India has requested all the concerned stakeholders to submit their comments or suggestions on draft of pharmaceutical technology upgradation scheme (PTUAS). The department intends to bring a soft loan scheme to assist the pharma medium enterprises (MEs) for upgrading their manufacturing units to World Health Organization (WHO) Good manufacturing Practices (GMP) or other international standards.
The notification signed by Mr R K Maggo, deputy secretary to the government of India asked the concerned persons to send their comments/suggestions on the draft scheme available at DoP website, www.pharmaceuticals.gov.in up to June 13, 2013. The suggestions by all the stakeholders, pharma associations or government bodies have been requested to email the comments to Mr S.D. Maurya, Joint Director (Cost).
