Strand licenses Soochika to BTI, Singapore

p>Strand Genomics , Bangalore, has licensed its microarray data mining and management product, Soochika to the Bioprocessing Technology Institute (formerly Bioprocessing Technology Center under the National University of Singapore), Singapore.

"We firmly believe that its superior data analytic and management capabilities will lead to optimal results and better decisions," said Strand's CEO Srinivasan Seshadri.

Soochika employs extensive data cleaning, filtering, transformation and normalization techniques. It has three main analysis pipelines- cluster analysis, predictive model building and differential analysis. Soochika also includes an annotation module that allows the user to pull and organize all relevant information on gene sequences of interest for further analysis. This software is available for both desktop and enterprise wide deployment and runs on Windows, UNIX, Mac OS X and Linux systems.
