International Panaacea Ltd (IPL) provides new solutions in agribiotechnology through microbe based liquid biofertilizers and fungi based biopesticides.

Its annual turnover during 2005-06 is Rs 21.5 crore, which has shown about 25 percent increase over its previous year's revenue of Rs 17.21 crore. Premium Azospi, Premium Phosphofix, Premium Azotoplus, Premium Rhizo are some of its important biofertilizers while Sanjeevni, Daman and Kalichakra form its biopesticide range. The company has its own R&D unit and a pilot plant where scale-up trials on strain selection and improvement, pilot scale fermentation, optimization and downstream processing are conducted. It has technical collaboration with IIT Delhi and University of Delhi, South Campus to develop enzymes for use in animal feeds both for poultry as well as ruminants. The clinical dose trials of the developed enzymes are being conducted in veterinary institutions. IPL is also setting up a referral lab for testing biofertilizers and biopesticides at its R&D center in Delhi. Within the country, International Panaacea has marketing/business alliance with Hindustan Insecticides Ltd.
