Nugen Scientific, a Delhi-based company, has tied up with the US-based Sonics & Materials Inc. to supply ultrasonic processors for industrial applications. Introducing this product range in India, Rakesh Sharma, managing director, Nugen, said, "This product range has lot of market potential. Since the principal company is a market leader in foreign markets, this leadership can be maintained in the Indian market too."
The model name of ultrasonic processor for industrial applications is VCF 1500. "This can be used by itself or with the optional high volume continuous flow cell. When used in conjunction with the flow cell, throughput rate is typically 100 liter/hour—variables being viscosity and desired degree of processing. The flow cell is recommended for the treatment of low viscosity samples that do not require extended exposure to ultrasonics," further informed Sharma.
Bio-Tek launches new Synergy HT multi-detection microplate reader
Bio-Tek Instruments is launching new technology for its
Synergy HT multi detection micro plate reader. Along with absorbance,
fluorescence and time resolved fluorescence, this addition to the Synergy HT
series enables low light output luminescence applications. Its applications
include reporter gene analysis, flash ATP assays, and reactive oxygen
species, luminescent immuno assays. The Synergy's unique dual optics system
ensures optimal performance for each measurement modality. The highest
sensitivity in florescence is achieved with an ultra stable tungsten/halogen
light source coupled with deep blocking interference filters. A xenon flash lamp
provides unsurpassed flexibility in absence especially in low UV and near IP
applications with a detection range from 200 to 999 nm. The new low noise

Anatel's Access 643 TOC Analysis System is designed
