By exploiting cutting-edge technologies in sterile process distribution, molecular filtration, separation and purification systems, Nilsan Nishotech displayed an increase in revenue this year
Nilsan Nishotech Systems is a supplier of separation technologies and filtration systems to the pharma and biopharma industry. It offers integrated and customized solutions comprising design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning for process plant and equipment in the areas of sterile process piping, high purity water systems, and separation technologies. For fiscal 2011-2012, it clocked an annual turnover of 
39 crore as against 30 crore in the previous fiscal.
Nilsan Nishotech focuses on separation applications by offering customized filtration, separation and purification solutions with technology portfolios of membranes, chromatography and ion exchange to industries. Expertise of the company clearly lies in API/bulk drug manufacturing formulations. Some of the company's clients include Divis, Cipla, Matrix, Serum Institute of India, and Torrent.
Nilsan Nishotech also imparts engineering skills with international technological process made available through its global partner, Novasep Process, a part of Groupe Novasep. The Nishotech-Novasep association provides solutions using membrane and prep-chromatographic technologies. Novasep Process' core technologies are chromatography, crystallization, ion exchange, msembranes, and evaporation.
Additionally, DrM is a technology partner for Nilsan Nishotech system for their patented candle filtration design. DrM, Switzerland is the inventor of the “LUWA�, a thin film evaporator and FUNDA-filter and over 400 patent applications in total. The FUNDABAC and CONTIBAC range of filters have been the newest developments and in the meantime, there are over 1500 filters in operation worldwide and about 80 new systems are installed every year; most of them in the chemical industry, but also in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and industrial waste water applications as well.
During the year, Nilsan Nishotech has struck deals with pharma and biotech companies like Gadre Marine, Glenmark, GSK, Mylan, and Zydus Cadila. The company also launched products which include clean in-place systems to FMCG and healthcare sector, project recovery systems, purified water generation systems. The essential factors which paved the way for the company's growth includes trouble shooting capabilities of its expertise, understanding the engineering requirements, and providing innovative solutions.
