The forum served as an opportunity for the new generation of biotechnologists to exchange their concepts, views, knowledge and ideas. Participants from over 250 institutions across the country participated in the event.

The symposium was jointly organized by the Biochemical Engineers and Technologists Association (BETA) of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
