Research & development is the lifeblood of the biotech industry. BioSpectrum in this special issue has brought together some of the R&D leaders from the industry to share their thoughts on the “Game Changers in Drug Discovery & Development�.

Later this month, BioSpectrum is organizing the second edition of the BioSpectrum Technology Forum 2011 (BSTF 2011) which has a series on interactive panel discussions with the same theme: “Game Changers in Drug Discovery & Development.� This two-day forum will be held in Bangalore on February 22-23, 2011.
During these two days, senior scientists and R&D heads from public and private sectors across the country will be sharing their insights & experiences on topics such as “Stem Cells & Gene Therapy, Next Generation Innovation, Strengthening the Drug Pipeline, Computer-aided Drug Discovery, and Novel Approaches to Drug Discovery.� In the ensuing pages, read on some insights from these R&D leaders:
