In this month's public-private partnership (PPP) series, BioSpectrum focuses on the bioenergy sector - showcasing the three case studies that can make a huge impact in fulfilling our future energy requirements
- Bharat Petroleum and TERI are working on a joint project on butanol production from lignocellulosic biomass. The project is supported by BIPP.
- Avesthagen is working on production of bioethanol products from self glucogenic pearl millet. This project is also supported by BIPP.
- SPC Biotech is validating its technology to convert agricultural waste from mango kernel into bio-plastic. This project is supported by the DBT.
