Wet Mouth contains Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose in a pleasantly flavoured base

ICPA Health Products (ICPA) has launched Wet Mouth, a saliva substitute for treating individuals suffering from xerostomia or commonly known as dry mouth. A dry mouth occurs when the salivary glands are not able to produce enough saliva to keep the mouth wet.

ICPA's Wet Mouth contains Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose in a pleasantly flavoured base that helps enhance oral lubrication in the mouth and is an easy solution to overcome a dry mouth. Regular use of wet mouth keeps the oral mucosa moist and lubricated. It reduces surface abrasion which helps patients eat, swallow and speak comfortably. Every 5 ml of Wet Mouth contains Sodium Carboxymethyl cellulose 0.5 per cent w/v, Glycerine 30 per cent w/v.
